The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that the contractual coal quality of the coal dispatched, received and paid for by PowerStations like Eskom, in terms of the Agreement is measured and recorded, in accordance with the standards set out in the manual, and to ensure that coal is correctly pre-certified prior to delivery as well as recording the responsibilities of Eskom, Supplier, Principal Contractors, Nominated Laboratory, Supervisor and Monitor.
